Research and science is being done around the clock. You want to know where computers and computing power calculate highly complex tasks. Then you can expand your "input" on this page = BOiNC + table

with 30 international projects.

There is currently an exciting project called Cosmology@Home. There they are looking for a model of how the universe came into being.

Today we share more data than ever before in our short history of existence.

Thanks to the exorbitant development of technology that spans our globe. We've all gotten a little closer together. More than some would like.

So if you want to "help" with the joint calculation and completion of tasks, you can support the projects listed here with the computing power of your computer. You can only support one project or several. (You can choose how much computing power, graphics performance or computing cores you want to provide in %.)

The program that is installed for this purpose can be installed in a VM Virtual Box. In this case, this means that Oracle software manufacturers provide a container that is isolated from all other areas on the hard disk and does its job. You can find out more about Virtual Box here Link *:> WIKI

Project Seti Home

The whole undertaking found its origin in the Seti Home project. This was started in 1999. Brief explanation, radio telescopes

listen into space and look for sounds, noise, noise, sound waves, signals that do not have their origin in the cosmos. Formulated differently by creatures outside our solar system, or by electrical devices that were not built by US. ( Hollywood has made a film about it, where you can learn something about it, at least at the beginning, the film is called CONTACT ) . The wealth of data that is obtained there must be processed through many "PUZZLE" processes.

This is exactly where your own home computer comes into play.

An intelligent network distributes small tasks to all participants. The catalogs of sounds that are known to us and those that have been recorded but not yet classified or assigned are huge.

What is particularly interesting about it is the fact that you actually use unused potential in this way.

A nice comparison are our millions of cars every day 60min. be moved, at over 60% by only 1 person (at an average of 4 comfortable places) by then 1380min. =23h to stand, to rot and to lose value. Well, friends of design will say, it's nice to look at the variety of four-legged rolling bundles of energy.

The whole thing is of course utopian, but:

If everyone had access to all automobiles in the world, in the style of GTA (by the way, a world-famous GAME for game consoles and PCs), then the world would only need 1/3 of the current vehicles. Not a new thought, but one of the many organizations from the green sector would greet with a smile. This would not significantly reduce Co2 emissions, but the streets, cities and parking lots would be freer. We would all have other automobiles to cruise with all the time, all motorized and electrified. Much of what was once unimaginable is now a reality. So why shouldn't there be similar visions in the future? You can start with New Neighborhoods with New Traffic Policy Regulations backed by industry. With a subscription that is available separately or is already adjusted via a tax model, the new mobility is financed in this way.

In these cities, the environmentally friendly green thumb wins. Not for everyone, but for a society of tomorrow that wants to live differently and will emphasize this with such solutions.

How much does a district like this cost?

and where should one plan and build it? Which country would like to give something for a futuristic city? Above ground or underground? Take a look at the rising temperatures
